Dukes Petroleum Company was licensed in 2004, the industry players were about 24 in number and the dominance of the multinational companies were greatly felt. The remaining 19 players were the indigenous companies including Dukes Petroleum with its unique strategic entry into the industry. Today, the number of all Oil Marketing Companies are well over 80, majority of which are Ghanaian owned.

Our core business is the lifting, marketing, distribution and retailing of petroleum products to various sectors such as mining, industrial, construction and retail at the filling stations.

Dukes Petroleum since its entry into the industry has consistently maintained its strategic focus in the semi urban areas.

Our strategy is to compete with all industry players in an environmentally friendly manner and become one of the most profitable indigineous oil marketing companies.

In addition, Dukes Petroleum Company Limited constructed its own head office complex at Agona Swedru, Oda road directly opposite Greenland Hotel; which is about two hours drive from Accra.

The Company is now putting up a number of filling stations across the country. The Company now has 46 stations and hopes to increase that to 50 outlets by 2020.

Dukes Petroleum Company believes in company owned, company operated (COCO) networks. This explains why the company has a strong asset base and stands tall among other players in the industry.

With an employee strength of 18 and 4 management staff out of this number in 2004, Dukes Petroleum Company now employs over 180 workers and 16 out of this number are made up of the management team .The rest are the supporting staffs, majority of whom are Customer Attendants and station Supervisors.
